Paper Mill Equipment Air Cushion Headbox
Our Air-Cushion Headbox is an important part of the paper making machine. It gives stable pulp flow and good sheet formation. The air-cushion design works with different basis weights and sizing amounts. The jet width is wide, and the opening range can be adjusted. The upper lip can be fine-tuned forward and backward. The headbox uses a square tapered inlet and stepped diffusion plates to make the flow smooth. It has two homogenizing rolls in the pond. Glass sight holes let you check the pulp level. The lower lip can be removed, and the upper lip has a strong frame to stop deformation. Cleaning holes are in the distributor and the pond. For machining, we use high-pressure water jet CNC cutting, heat treatment, and pre-assembly action tests. This keeps deformation low and makes sure the headbox works well.
