Dryer Cylinder for Printing Paper Line

Our dryer cylinder has a diameter of Φ3660 mm and a face width of 5300 mm. It is designed for a working speed of 350 m/min. The machine is right-hand type and rotates clockwise. The cylinder body is made of special alloy steel. The body strength is HT300, and the heads and manhole covers are also HT300. The wall thickness is 50 mm, which meets the national standard. The maximum working pressure is 0.5 MPa, and the water test pressure is 1.0 MPa. The steam temperature is 158°C. The surface hardness after machining is at least HB255. The difference between the highest and lowest hardness is less than HB24. The hardness difference between the two ends is also less than HB24. We check the hardness with a hardness tester, such as a roll hardness tester.

The surface roughness is not less than Ra=0.2m, checked with a contour tester. The surface is bright and even, with no spots, dark marks, vibration marks, or other defects. The circular runout is less than 0.01 mm, checked with a dial indicator. The cylindricity is less than 115 m, measured at five equal sections with the diameter method. The head bolts are 8.8 grade 40Cr special bolts. The manufacturing follows the industry standard QB2551-2008. The design follows QB/T2556-2008. The operating side has water outlet and the drive side has steam inlet. Both have rotary joints with a diameter of Φ150. The flange connects to a metal hose of 450-500 mm, which the user provides. The siphon system uses a bucket type drainage. The cylinder rotates clockwise when viewed from the operating side. The drain plug is M20 thread. Both ends have bearings and bearing housings. The bearing housing is cast steel. The journal is 1:12 taper. The rolling bearings are from Wafangdian Bearing Factory. The bearings use oil lubrication. The cylinder is statically balanced. The drive side has a main gearbox with a closed pinion drive and oil lubrication.
