The heart of any efficient paper processing line lies in its forming and pressing technologies. Leizhan’s industrial paper machine employs a top wire plus bottom wire configuration with a total wire table length exceeding 33 meters, combining multiple dewatering elements including forming boards, seven-blade dewatering boxes, wet suction boxes with water legs, and dual-chamber high-vacuum suction boxes fitted with silicon nitride ceramic covers.
The press section integrates three nips: a vacuum pickup roll followed by a large-diameter blind drilled roll and a vacuum press roll, all under hydraulic loading that delivers uniform pressure profile across the web. This design maximizes water removal before the drying section, significantly reducing steam consumption. An immersion sizing station with an air turn system applies starch evenly to both sides, while the hard calender ensures superior smoothness and gloss. The rope-less tail threading system from the dryer section through the sizing machine and calender to the reel minimizes paper breaks and speeds up restart after web breaks.
