The system then opens the upper gate valve allowing balance water to continue rising before opening the inlet pulp valve beginning feeding only when pulp and balance water meet achieving equilibrium for continuous operation. Operators must monitor impurity accumulation through the sediment tank sight glass selecting appropriate automatic slag discharge intervals while regulating inlet-outlet pressure difference to required ranges and adjusting balance water flow to maintain optimal pulp-water balance position.
